Job Opportunity – Kendal Town Council

Kendal Town Council are looking for an Administrative Assistant who will be responsible for dealing with enquiries, managing The Mayor’s Diary, managing the organisation of events, managing the maintenance of the website, undertaking written communication on behalf of the Clerk and The Mayor and the general day to day running of the Council office. We would also be interested in someone with some project management skills who could take on progressing small projects.

Applicants should possess excellent communication skills, flexibility, show initiative and be able to prioritise workloads. Experience of working in a busy office environment, dealing with the public, event organisation and familiarity with Microsoft Office, website and social media are essential.
