Project Manager Opportunity (Maternity Cover, 18.5hrs per week)

Kendal Town Council are looking for a Project Manager who will be responsible for delivery of projects identified by Kendal Town Council and its Action Plan.

This will include responsibility for the entire project lifecycle including overseeing the work undertaken by contractors, the production of the Council’s Newsletter, management of the Council’s website and appointment as Data Protection Officer for the Council.

Applicants should be a self-starter with experience of project management in a relevant sector. They should possess experience of dealing with the public and contractors, partnership working, undertaking project planning and delivery and use of IT. They should also have good communication skills, be able to prioritise workloads and be flexible.

The post is a Maternity Cover position for 18.5 hours per week. The pay range is £27,905 – £32,878 pro rata (according to experience) and includes a Local Government Pension Scheme.
