Kendal Town Council on behalf of the Kendal Community Emergency Plan Group has the following vacancy

 

PART-TIME ADMINISTRATOR

(FIXED TERM 3 YEAR CONTRACT)

 

Approx. 10 hours per week

Pay £8.46 per hour + Occupational Pension

We are looking for an enthusiastic Administrator who will work with KCEPG and partners to assist with administrative and organisational tasks. Following a successful grant application to Cumbria Community Foundation, this opportunity has arisen to help shape and develop the Kendal Emergency Plan. The position will start in April 2017 and will be for 3 years.

Applicants must be self-motivated, enthusiastic and able to work on their own initiative without direct supervision. Applicants must possess excellent communication skills, be confident with a range of stakeholders, show flexibility and be able to prioritise workloads. Competency with Microsoft Office is also essential. Flexible and home working possible. Attendance at occasional evening and weekend meetings is required. In the event of an emergency, the applicant would be expected to be available to support the co-ordinating group.
