Kendal Town Council serves approximately 30,000 Kendal residents via 28 Councilors who meet regularly to propose, steer and manage projects that are beneficial to Kendal and its communities.

Usually based in Kendal Town Hall, the Town Council employs 8 members of staff (5.5FTE)to deliver a range of projects and fulfill the Council’s statutory duties.

This website provides an overview of the Town Council’s Committees and Councillors, its Allotment and ‘In Bloom’ commitments and current partnership projects.

All Kendal Town Council meetings have continued via Zoom since the Covid-19 pandemic began. Since May 2021 these have been non-statutory working groups, and compliance with government regulations has been maintained through monthly face-to-face meetings of the Full Council or Management Committee. The zoom links to all virtual meetings are available on the calendar, at least a day in advance to allow public participation. Please email clerk@kendaltowncouncil.gov.uk if you intend to join.
