Accessibility policy

This accessibility statement applies to kendaltowncouncil.gov.uk

This website is run by Kendal Town Council. We want as many people as possible to be able to use this website. For example, that means you should be able to:

  • change colours, contrast levels and fonts using browser or device settings
  • zoom in up to 400% without the text spilling off the screen
  • navigate most of the website using a keyboard or speech recognition software

We know some parts of this website are not fully accessible:

This website was launched in March 2026. All new webpages and Council-produced documents will be considered against accessibility standards and any issues with be remedied as soon as possible. Users are invited to contact the council to request content in an alternative format whenever required.
