BAY HEALTH AND CARE PARTNERS FIVE-YEAR STRATEGY 2020-2025
It has now been five years since the creation of Better Care Together as a model to collaborate and deliver the best health and care outcomes for our communities. The vision is to see a network of communities across Morecambe Bay enjoying great physical, mental and emotional wellbeing, supported by a health and care system that is recognised as being as good as it gets.
They are now in the process of developing their plans for the next five-years which they are aiming to complete by early November. The strategy will align with both the NHS Long Term Plan (published in January) as well as the emerging Healthier Lancashire and South Cumbria plans.
“The first step in preparing the strategy is to begin a process of public engagement to share the challenges and the priorities we intend to work towards. We are inviting the public, patients and the wider civic community of Morecambe Bay to give their views on the effectiveness of our priorities to meet the challenges ahead.”
