Kendal Town Council together with volunteers from Fellside Forum, Ghyllside School and Kendal Fell Management Group and SLDC enjoyed a visit to the Wild Trail at Sizergh Castle to be inspired by the work of National Trust Ranger Sam Sharples.
The Town Council have allocated £5000 towards natural play additions at Serpentine Woods and are working in partnership to develop ideas and appropriate interventions that enhance the existing play opportunities within Serpentine Woods.
The group have decided to launch a summer holiday challenge to ask young local budding designers for their ideas to help inform designs.
The challenge details are included in the poster, please download here, and share widely to encourage as many young people as possible to take part.
