Kendal is ‘between’ Town Criers, presently, following John Bateson’s retirement in 2022. John followed Richard Matthews, who had held the post for many years.
The Council would like to appoint a new person to this ancient and voluntary role. They should know a little of Kendal’s history and be able to travel independently.
