Mayor Starts the Festive Season in Kendal at Christmas Switch On Event
What a night! A huge thank you to all those who joined us in Kendal for the Christmas Light’s Switch On Event.
The Mayor of Kendal, Councillor Richard Sutton was delighted to turn on this year’s lights and to welcome so many residents and visitors to start the festive season in Kendal.
Drum Nation, Dance Attik, Amabile Choirs, Matthew Hayton , Kendal Concert Band, Ragtag Arts, Taylor’s Funfair, Kendal & District Lions Club, Stilt Walkers and Santa all brought joy to the crowds throughout the event and created a truly special atmosphere throughout the town centre.
Kendal Town Council would like to add special thanks to Kendal Farmers Market, Kendal Rinteln Association and all the shops, cafés and restaurants who stayed open late, as well as all the amazing suppliers, volunteers, Councillors and Officers who worked behind the scenes to deliver the event.
